Collagen Lemonade

Lets talk dehydration.    I used to be a coffee addict.   My morning wouldn’t be complete without that warm cup of steaming brew that was supposed to wake me up and feel ready for the day.  I didn’t work.  I always progressivly felt crappier and needed another cup of coffee, until you end of needing a nap in the afternoon.   

You wake up every morning dehydrated, your body needs to rehydrate start the day off right.   When you wake up and drink coffee, it further dehydrates you.   It starts this spiraling pattern of dehydration leaving you feeling groggy and out of sorts the whole day.   

Then one day I decided to give coffee up.  Cold turkey.  I was ready for a change.  I was ready to feel better!   I dealt with the caffiene withdrawls and started my days different. 


Enter collagen lemonade.

Amazing.   Life changing.  I am more awake with no coffee then I ever was with it. 

Three years ago, I switched to tea and commited to drinking a ton of water in the morning and I have WAY more energy then I ever did.  I hardly ever have that mid-day lull.  The one that makes you feel miserable.   The one that brings on the 3’Oclock cup of coffee.   It’s gone.    

One of the challenges for me was craving that warm cup of coffee in the morning.   Especially where we live in the North, half the year is freezing.    I’ve replaced that we with tea.   I get out of bed and chug down my collagen lemonade and then have my warm, delicious cup of green tea.   It’s amazing, it took a few months for my tastes to change, but I now crave tea instead of coffee.   My body hydrated body thanks me for it.  Your hydrated body will thank you for it.     

I challenge you to give it a try, no coffee, start the day with this and see how great you feel!


I put lemon and stevia in my collagen lemonde because it just tastes good!  Lemon is amazing for you too!   I have the collagen because I’m in my 30’s and it’s supposed to help me not get wrinkly!  Also,  it strengthens your hair and nails!  It also adds that little bit of extra protein that helps keep you full longer! 

Here’s the way I make it! I use a Quart size Ball mason jar, becuase it has tons of room!


A dash of Pyure Stevia powder (seriously, just a dash, this goes a LONG way)

A few squirts of lemon juice, play with the amount to your liking!

2 Tablespoons Anthonys Collagen Peptide Powder.

Sometimes I add a little warm water with the collagen to dissolve it before adding the other ingredients.  It does help it be a little smoother, but you can do it either way.  Anthonys is by far my favorite!

  • 2 TBSP Anthony's Collagen Lemonade
  • 64 Oz Water
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice


  • Add collagen to a small amount of warm water
  • add a dash of stevia (a very small dash!) and lemonade
  • Stir and enjoy!
